DELTA CAMP

Hidden inside a palm-studded island deep in the Okavango Delta, Delta Camp offers a unique combination of comfort and connection with nature. The camp offers walking safaris and mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) rides to the wildlife-rich waters and islands that surround as well as the promise of a daily return to the comfort of soft beds, beautiful vistas, and delicious meals.

ACCOMMODATION

The chalets are designed and built in harmony with the old-growth trees that surround. Each features works of indigenous arts and crafts and are built from local materials. The open-air design of the camps mantain a connection with the surrounding nature while providing the comforts of running hot water, flush toilets, a shower with a view, solar-powered electricity, and soft beds.

SAFARI

The guides are born and raised in the Okavango, and have a lifetime of knowledge to share. They remain exclusive to individual guests from arrival to departure to allow for the most personalized safari experience. Outings generally combine mokoro rides with walking safaris and can be further customized to include picnic lunches and extended camping expeditions into the Delta.

WILDLIFE

Possible sightings include lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, hippopotamus, crocodile, giraffe, all manner of antelope including the rare red lechwe, tsessebe and sitatunga, otters, honey-badgers, pangolin, a variety of small cats, and over 450 species of birds.
