NUARRO
ACCOMMODATION
The view over the bay from the luxurious and spacious beachfront chalets is truly amazing. Twelve luxury beachfront chalets were desinged by a local French architect who developed traditional chalets in a sophisticated space. You can enjoy the privacy of your African house while you sit on the spacious veranda. Relax on the sun loungers or gaze at the blue sky as you gently swing in your hammock. Offering indoor and outdoor showers, extra long king size beds, and beautifully crafted furniture and ornaments.
RESTAURANT
A panoramic high-class restaurant and cocktail bar is located on the west end of the beach with views to Nanatha Island Rock and the bay beyond. Fresh seafood and salads will form creative menus which incorporate traditional and international cuisine.
ACTIVITIES
Take a stroll in the natural surroundings of Nuarro. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant with its panoramic sea views. Treat yourself to an exotic drink at the cocktail bar or the relaxing beach bar. Visit the activity center for a list of great adventures including a fully equipped dive center. The region is also ideal for snorkeling, fishing, and whale watching. You can use a kayak to discover the mangroves, secluded bays and deserted beaches. You can go on a sailing trip or a sundown cruise in a traditional wooden dhow to private beaches for an exclusive romantic picnic. Explore Nuarro's conservation area by following eco trails by foot or on a mountain bike. Visit an authentic cultural village and meet the friendly Macua people.
THE DIVING
The diving is world-class. Diving from shore offers pinnacles and a beautiful wall. Only 5% of the reef has been explored so far, meaning your experience at Nuarro will be pristine, untouched, and completely unique. There are several shore-accessible dive sites, but the lodge offers diving by boat as well. Exciting night dives can be arranged as well as drift diving, deep diving, nitrox, wreck diving, and photography
ECO CONSCIENCE
This resort is a project based on a strong concept of ethical and fair-trade tourism, which is why the local community play such an important role. They are co-owners of the land and by building Nuarro, they are building their own future.
