Namibia lies in southern Africa with its western border the Atlantic Ocean. It has been given many names: the land of contrasts, the land God made in anger, the ageless land, but its name was finally taken from the Namib Desert. It is the second least densely populated country in the world, after Mongolia. Its landscapes are wildly dramatic with many breathtaking national parks and endless coastline to discover.
