The Cape Grace plays is committed to social programs and is in ongoing suppport of the wellbeing of employees and their families. For instanc,e rather than creating more waste, the unfinished guest amenities are donated to organizations such as Tygerberg Rotary and the Christine Revel Home. Unusable IT equipment is donated to Footprint for their arts and craft income-generation project. Cape Grace is certified by Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa. The hotel also pursues Green efforts in reducing waste and use of energy.
