THE LODGE
The lodge consists of a main restaurant and bar at one end of the cay with the rest being paths of soft white sand bordered by palm trees and conch shells and a scattering of private thatched cabanas. On one side of the island is a view to the open sea to the east and to the west lies the view of the Seven Hills and distant Maya mountains.
ACCOMMODATION
An exclusive collection of free-standing, luxury, safari-style tent lodges with thathched roofs are set atop permanent platforms on the water's edge. Each unit has its own stretch of beach surrounded on both sides by tropical island vegetation to ensure privacy. The spacious tent lodges feature private verandas that extend over the water, hardwood furnishings, tiled bathrooms with hot-water showers, ceiling fans, and solar panels and wind-powered electricity.
CUISINE
The resident chef prepares freshly caught fish, lobster, and conch from the nearby reef as well as a variety of succulent local and international dishes. Dine on your private veranda or in the lovely restaurant. Wake to tea and coffee on your veranda, on the beach, or in the restaurant. High tea is served daily and 24-hour room service with local drinks is included in your rate.
ACTIVITIES
Enjoy hald and full-day snorkel, swim, and sea kayakign adventures within the marine reserve. Explore Payne's Creek National Park, Ycacos Lagoon, hundreds of scattered cays, pristine river estuaries in search of manatee, and expeditions to the southern tip of the Great Belize Barrier Reef. Circumnavigate the 1/2 mile-long island by snorkel or kayak, watch the sting rays glide across the grassy floor, relax on the soft white sand beaches, search for giant red starfish, go fishing including special fly-fishing charters, snorkel around the house wreck that has become home to a variety of healthy-sized fish. Diving is also available in the area.

LIGHTING AND POWER
A nearly silent generator runs only when the sun does not shine or the wind does not blow. The system charges batteries that provide 110v all day and night via an inverter system. Hot water is available 24-hours a day, and all waste water is removed from the island. The capacity of the system is limited to low current usage. Moho Caye runs all green!
