TURTLE PROGRAM
Vomo island is a breeding ground for Hawksbill turtles, a species with a current survival rate of 3% because of harvesting and poaching of the animals. For this reason, the resort breeds the turtles in captivity with the efforts to increase the survival rate to at least 10%.
