UTO FARM
An excellent place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of an old style cattle and horse ranch. Resting beneath the towering Mt. Meru volcano, the fifth highest mountain on the continent, the farm offers stunning views. Activities at the farm include birdwatching, riding, polocrosse, walking, cave visits, and visits to the local Maasai market.

THE RIDING
The areas in which you ride are some of the most scenic to be found in East Africa, being close to the Great Rift Valley and at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Kilimanjaro Ride - The original itinerary offers seven days of bush riding covering some 200 km aimed at intermediate to experienced riders accustomed to English riding. The riding follows a circuit starting and ending at Uto Farm and each evening between arriving at a camp already set up. Ride around 3 hours in the morning, break and siesta for lunch, and then ride another 2-3 hours in the afternoon. The route takes the group close to the base of Kilimanjaro. The riding area is unfenced allowing the game to move freely with a variety of plains animals.
