GALAPAGOS LIVEABOARDS

Despite their equatorial location off the coast of Ecuador, this unique group of islands do not offer tropical water diving. Diving conditions are frequently in rough seas and strong currents, with great temperature fluctuation between seasons (62-72, July – December and 75-82, January – June). They are a World Heritage Site with most islands fully protected form any contact with man. The main attractions are the unique animals and large schools of pelagics (sharks, manta rays, dolphin, sea lions…), here commonplace and seen on almost every dive.
