Called "Belau" by its inhabitants, Palau is an archipelago of high forested islands, coral atolls and picturesque rock islands and is well known as a world class dive destination. There are three main currents that converge to create an eco system offering everything from the very small to the very large, as well as the unique, giving Palau its nickname the "Pacific Jewel". All kinds of diving is offered from protective lagoon reefs with caverns and wrecks to outer reefs with strong drift dives, walls and blue holes. |
