Lauresa and I are fairly seasoned business travelers, so we are rather selective about where we sleep. As such, we were amazed at the accommodations you recommended in Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Kirawira Camp and Lake Manyara Tree Lodge were some of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Please extend our sentiments to your contacts at CC Africa, as their properties are first rate.
The safari itself exceeded our expectations. It became clear during our travels that Leopard Tours is a very well respected tour company. Our guide, Maulid, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. His knowledge of the areas where we toured allowed us to see some unique events, such as a crocodile attack on a zebra herd crossing the Grumeti River, that we might not have witnessed otherwise.
Finally, our trip to Mnemba Island after the safari was well worth the short boat ride from Zanzibar. Again, CC Africa should be congratulated on these accommodations. Besides the fact that we were 2 of about 40 people on the entire island, the beautiful white sand beaches, great food and superb service made this one of our most memorable beach vacations.
