Divers, snorkelers, adventurers and leisure travellers will feel equally at home at Buddy Dive. You will want to save plenty of time to relax in a hammock, lounge by one of the three pools, simply catch some rays or saunter on down to the pool bar for a cocktail before sampling some of the local specialties.

DIVING

Expelling the notion of scuba freedom climb into the rental truck you receive automatically with your Drive & Dive Package, and take advantage of the 60 dive sites, accessible from the shore line of Bonaire or tour the island with a guide on one of many excursions available to you through the Activity Centre.

With as many as 60 officially listed dive sites on Bonaire and another 20 dive sites on Klein Bonaire, the dive operation at Buddy Dive Resort is geared up for you to make the most out of your dive vacation. With a fleet of custom dive boats and a well stocked 'Drive Thru' offering air and nitrox tanks, every divers needs can be satisfied.

Bonaire's waters offer something special for every diver. Novice divers will appreciate the calm waters, reefs that run parallel to shore, and minimal currents. These conditions make it an ideal location to really work on improving those buoyancy skills! And the abundance of marine life living along the shallow drop-off area of the reef slope allows for maximum bottom time, while giving new divers an opportunity to develop a level of comfort and confidence in their newly learned skills

All levels of divers can enjoy the freedom of this unlimited shore diving package, making as many dives as you want each day, according to your own safe profiles. There are plenty of 80 and 63 cubic foot air and Nitrox tanks available at either the Drive Thru or on the dock where there are convenient benches for gear set-up and two sturdy ladders that provide easy access to the water. Rinse tanks are located at the Drive Thru as well as on the docks where there is an extensive gear storage room. This simply makes diving at Buddy's easy and enjoyable.

THE RESORT

The resort is complete with four modern buildings housing spacious one, two and three bedroom apartments, a full service dive center, activity desk, three swimming pools, restaurant, pool bar, vehicle rentals and the famous drive-thru air and Nitrox fill station.

Apartments feature fully equipped kitchens including microwaves, stoves, dishwashers and refrigerators with comfortably furnished living area including cable TV and phones. There are safe deposit boxes in every appartment and they are free of charge. Bedrooms feature either twin, queen or king beds depending on your needs with large private balconies or patios where you can view either the ocean or lush tropical gardens.

Daily housekeeping services are available as well as free use of beach towels. Should you require a baby sitter, Front Office will be glad to make all the arranagements for you. A laundry facility is provided as well.

No unit is more than a few steps away from one of 3 swimming pools and casual thatched roof, seaside pool bar. From here, you can acess raised sand beach areas overlooking the clear, turquoise waters of the Caribbean, making Buddy Dive Resort a perfect spot for any active traveler who appreciates a little relaxation time as well.
