Bush is mainly a mixture of stunning podocarp and beech forest with punga ferns and other New Zealand native foliage. This day is regarded as the premier section of the track with many beautiful views across the Marlborough Sounds. Your informative local guide will explain the European and pre-European connections of this significant historical area as well as detailed information on flora and fauna. Marlborough One Day Wine Walk
Be collected from accommodation and journey to organic wine and olive producer Seresin Estate for morning tasting and tour. Follow onto Grove Mill Wine Company with aroma tastings and interesting Vine Library and eclectic mix of art offerings, followed by Highfield Estate for lunch. Admire the lay of the Wairau Plains as we continue through the private Dog Point Vineyard to find olive oil producer Ponder Estate for a detailed look at the olive oil producing process as well as wines. Finally through the vineyards of Montana's Brancott Estate to the lookout before departing back to Picton or Blenheim. Includes platter lunch with wine, tastings and tours of winery complexes. |
