Whirinaki Eco-Culture Walk
This one day guided walk takes you into one of the world's most acclaimed native forests, the Whirinaki Forest Park. Set in the north western sector of the Urewera Ranges it is the home of the Tuhoe Maori, the legendary "children of the Mist". Your guide will be a local Maori person who will share the cultural and historic significance of the area with you. Visit the Department of Conservation Centre and walk 4 hours through the tall trees within the 60,000 hectare native forest to Whirinaki Falls. The forest is home to giant Totara, Matai, Miro, Kahikatea and Rimu trees all of which trace their origins back to the Jurassic period 200 million years ago. During the return journey visit a natural thermal hot pool for a relaxing soak and time to ......on the day's activity.

 
Waitomo Black Water Adventure
The Waitomo Black Water Adventure is a magical combination of abseiling (rappelling), glow-worms, tubing, caving, and climbing. Abseil down a 35m (110foot) tomo (shaft) into darkness, Raft along a trail of glow-worms, then wade, clamber and climb back to daylight with some surprises in between.
 
Rotorua White Water Rafting Lower Rangitaiki River
Family fun and thrills for all. The Rangitaiki is a relaxed yet adventurous and challenging rafting adventure featuring 14 kilometres of exciting Grade 3-4 rapids and it is liquid fun from top to bottom. Passing through spectacular native bush and planted forest, this river trip takes you away from the urban world into the special environment of pristine beauty and peace. With plenty of time in between the rapids to enjoy the scenery and the company of their fellow rafters, it provides a true river journey experience.
 

Rotorua White Water Rafting Kaituna River
An exhilarating, and adrenalin pumping Grade 4-5 white-water ride. You will raft 14 rapids in 45 minutes, including the highest commercially rafted waterfall (7m) in the Southern Hemisphere, making the Kaituna Adventure a short, sharp burst of action, excitement and fun. The passage is picturesque through narrow and winding tree lined gorge steeped in history. Two experienced guides will be with you at all times on the river.

 
Rotorua Two Hour Lake Ride
After a short drive to Whakarewarewa Forest Mountain Biking car park you will be supplied with 24 speed, aluminium framed bikes with front suspension and begin your 30 kilometres of open riding. The experienced guides will give you valuable riding tips to ensure you have a comfortable ride then tailor make a route to suit your fitness and ability. Allow four hours including pick-up / return transport.
 
Rotorua Te Kiri Day Cultural, Bush and Nature Trek
From Rotorua travel south to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland and watch Lady Knox Geyser erupt to heights of 21 metres, see the volcano craters, Primrose Terraces, Champagne Pool and Bridal Veil Falls. You will then move onto the most active volcano in the region with a boiling lake. Continue on 4WD safari through native forests for lunch in a secluded area surrounded by native bush and phenomenal views. Take a bush walk to the amazing waterfall sights and swim in the crystal clear river. The day will be completed with a stop at a hot thermal pool and a picturesque return to Rotorua
 
Rotorua Mt Tarawera Half Day 4WD Tour
Be driven up the mountain for a guided 4WD tour to the top and a walking exploration to the summit at an altitude of 1111m. Enjoy the thrill of the scree slide into the crater and experience the magnitude of its beauty. You will also be given a full historical commentary about the mountain and its history. The last eruption of this volcano was 1886 which devastated the surrounding landscape.

See all of Rotorua's amazing landscape in one day - huge volcanic craters and ferocious thermal activity - fun and factual this tour is guaranteed to amaze you. In the morning visit Waiotapu, the thermal wonderland of geysers, mud pools and colourful hot springs. Then stroll through native forest to the largest hot spring in the world and other thermal features of Waimungu Thermal Valley. You have 45 minutes rest here, so time for lunch in the Valley Cafe (Optional). After lunch be collected for this afternoon’s 4WD tour of the mighty Mt Tarawera Volcano for spectacular scenery and guided tour of the crater and experience the famous scree slide into the crater.

Rotorua Full Day Bike/Kayak/Raft
Be collected from your accommodation this morning then begin your Triple Action Combo. There is a two hour guided mountain bike ride, then raft the Kaituna River for the ultimate adrenaline rush, it is graded 5+ and includes the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world. Then you can enjoy Kayaking from Lake Rotorua to Lake Rotoiti via the Ohau Channel, a wildlife reserve. The kayaking is flat and safe with no white water. Using a sturdy sea kayak you can paddle around unaccompanied at your own pace. All safety equipment is supplied along with full instructions from your experienced and knowledgeable guide.

Be collected from your accommodation and enjoy this Double Combo of Biking and Kayaking. Enjoy two hours guided mountain bike riding and Kayaking from Lake Rotorua to Lake Rotoita via the Ohau Channel, a wildlife reserve. The kayaking is flat and safe with no white water.
