However, as all services need to be pre-paid prior to your travel date (usually before most people think about purchasing a wedding gift), this type of honeymoon registry works ideally if you are delaying your trip until some time after your wedding.

A second type of honeymoon registry can be used for guests to purchase "added value" items that can help make your honeymoon extra special – a bottle of champagne, massages, a sunset cruise, an upgrade to a more deluxe accommodation – items than can be added to your honeymoon at the last minute.
